our
treatments

Imaginal Exposure (IE)

You'll focus on processing the recent assault with an individual therapist over Zoom. This treatment encourages you to approach the memory of the trauma by describing what happened and what you were thinking and feeling at the time. Putting words to the memory, alongside a supportive therapist, can help you to feel and process difficult emotions to reduce your distress. Appointments will be audio and video recorded for study monitoring purposes.

Alcohol Skills Training (AST)

You'll focus on learning skills to help you meet your goals around alcohol use. This includes skills to increase rewarding activities and challenge unhelpful thinking. Learning these skills with a supportive therapist can help you learn, practice, and make changes to be more consistent with your goals and priorities. This treatment involves meeting with an individual therapist over Zoom. Appointments will be audio and video recorded for study monitoring purposes

Supportive Telehealth (ST)

You'll talk over the phone with an individual therapist about daily stressors and hassles. An individual therapist will provide support and encouragement and help you notice how you are currently coping. These sessions are not audio or video recorded.
